MASPETH, NY – The Brooklyn Knights PDL and Metropolitan Oval are pleased to announce that the Knights’ 2012 schedule has been published for public release.

The Knights will kick off the 16-game 2012 season with three consecutive road matches, beginning with a contest versus the Westchester Flames F.C. on Saturday, May 12, followed by games against the New Jersey Rangers FC and the Bermuda Hogges FC on May 16 and May 20, respectively. The squad returns home to Metropolitan Oval for three straight games commencing on May 27 to host the Reading United A.C., followed by a match versus the New Jersey Rangers F.C.  on June 2 and one against the Bermuda Hogges F.C. on June 5.

After a short one-game road trip to the Central Jersey Spartans on June 10, the Knights return to Maspeth for four consecutive matches starting with a contest against the local rival Long Island Rough Riders on June 13 followed by games versus the Ocean City Nor’easters, Jersey City Express and the Baltimore Bohemians on June 20, June 23 and June 29, respectively.

Following a July 1 contest in Reading, PA opposing the Reading United A.C., the Knights will come back to New York for the final home match of the season on July 5 when the team takes on the Westchester Flames F.C. The Blue-and-Gold conclude the 2012 campaign with three straight road games beginning with a July 11 contest facing the Long Island Rough Riders, followed by a match against the Baltimore Bohemians on July 14, before concluded the regular season on July 15 by traveling to Ocean City, NJ to battle the Ocean City Nor’easters.
